Built by solar O&M practitioners

Founded in 2024 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Solarvyew brings together two engineers focused on solar operations, predictive analytics, and time-series ML. They built the company to address the fault-detection gap in solar O&M.

The problem that persists

Utility-scale solar plants are designed to run unattended: panels span hundreds of hectares, linked to inverters and combiners expected to operate for decades with minimal intervention. That design creates a persistent failure: faults developing over days or weeks can go undetected until generation losses trigger a SCADA alarm.

A string running 8% below expected output may look like normal variance, not an emergency. Weather, irradiance, temperature, and seasonal calibration add noise, hiding gradual degradation until generation loss is clear.

The teams are not negligent: they are understaffed, managing multiple sites from a central operations center. SCADA dashboards show alarm counts, not fault probability. The gap is structural: the industry built good monitoring infrastructure, then relied on human pattern recognition to find subtle signals in noise. Solarvyew applies time-series machine learning to close it systematically.

The team

Aecio Bolzon, CEO and Co-Founder of Solarvyew
Aécio Bolzon
CEO & Co-Founder

Aécio Bolzon spans solar energy operations and industrial monitoring systems, having built fault-tracking workflows for utility-scale renewable infrastructure across the Brazilian northeast and Minas Gerais plateau. This background guided product direction when he co-founded Solarvyew: alerts with economic context, not just signal noise.

Rafael Queiroz, CTO and Co-Founder of Solarvyew
Rafael Queiroz
CTO & Co-Founder

Rafael Queiroz built predictive maintenance pipelines for large industrial equipment fleets, focused on time-series ML for sensor data, at a manufacturing-sector analytics firm. He co-founded Solarvyew after seeing solar fault detection closely match degradation modeling challenges he had solved in industrial settings.

How we are funded

Solarvyew is angel-backed by a small group of individual investors from renewable energy operations and industrial software. The company is focused on product-market fit in the Brazilian and Latin American solar O&M market before seeking institutional capital.
